Good morning, and happy 157th birthday Penn State! On this day in 1855, Gov. James Pollock signed the charter establishing the Farmers' High School of Pennsylvania, which would later become Penn State. A year later, 200 acres of land was acquired in Centre County, and in 1859 the first students arrived at the still-under-construction Main Building.

THON dancer Liz Ferrari received a foot massage on Sunday morning, Feb. 19, as the Penn State Dance Marathon moved into its final day. The three-day event at the Bryce Jordan Center will conclude at 4 p.m.
